HSS Continues to Support the Arts Community at the 22nd Annual Writers Guild of Canada Screenwriting Awards
Hogg, Shain & Scheck are, once again, proud to be gold level supporters of The Writers Guild of Canada Screenwriting Awards, which are being held Monday, April 30, 2018 at the Telus Centre’s Koerner Hall.
The Writers Guild of Canada (WGC) represents more than 2,200 professional English-language screenwriters across Canada. These screenwriters have written scripts for well-known television series such as, Kim’s Convenience and Letterkenny and the feature film Maudie, to name a few. HSS aims to recognize the achievements of Canadian screenwriters and the local theatre community in their accomplishments within Canada and Toronto.
The Writers Guild of Canada is celebrating the 22nd annual WGC Screenwriting Awards. The awards celebrate Canadian screenwriters and their work. Nominations are given to scripts placed in categories ranging from documentaries to feature films, and everything in between. This year, Gavin Crawford will be hosting the 22nd annual WGC Screenwriting awards. Gavin Crawford is a writer, comedian and host of CBC Radio’s Because News.
