Brotherhood: One-man stage show fills the room with music and heart

For over 20 years, b current has brought artists and actors of colour to centre stage. The Canadian production company has supported diversity in community theatre since 1991.

With an award-winning training program, b current fosters nationally and internationally acclaimed artists. These artists then go on to perform and create new works that are rooted in culture and come from real-life experiences.

Over the past two decades, b current has hosted dozens of main stage plays and has produced 100+ public performances that engage local communities.  

Hogg, Shain & Scheck are proud to support b current and their touring performance piece Brotherhood: The Hip Hopera. The one-man show, written by and starring Sébastien Heins, has visited theatres across Canada and is currently in India for its final performance in March.
