We Congratulate MSI Global Alliance on Winning Association of the Year

Our firm has been a proud member of MSI Global Alliance since 1992, and we’re excited to announce they were recently named Association of the Year.

They were honoured by The International Accounting Bulletin 2013 IAB awards, which recognizes innovative practices and firms that have risen above their peers in the past 12 months.

We have been members of MSI Global Alliance since their very early days, as they now bring together 250 independent member firms in 105 countries.

“We have found the opportunity to refer clients who want to do business outside of Canada to independent law and accounting firms to be unique and rewarding to our clients,” said Ed Scheck, FCPA, FCA, BSBA.

“Similarly the referrals coming into the GTA continues to increase because of Canada’s strong and safe economic environment.”

This year’s IAB awards were judged by an independent panel of accounting experts, which saw MSI emerge as the winner in one of the most competitive categories, with six associations shortlisted. Overall, there were more than 100 nominations worldwide.

“The award is a significant endorsement of our growing presence in the international marketplace, the caliber of our members and our focus on building strong collaborative relationships between firms across the association,” said Donal Watkin, chief executive at MSI.

The IAB awards ceremony was held at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in London, on March 14th, 2013.
